Who Shot Bob?

T-shirts By Independent Photographers

Hello, happy new year! I spent last couple of months, collaborating with Alex, to prepare for Who Shot Bob. It's so exciting because I'd be growing and operating Who Shot Bob! Bryan would continue working on ironbra. We decided to hold different lines of shirts cos Bryan's passion lies in creating cult tees. Whereas I love photo browsing and I feel more motivated when I get to collaborate with other people, such as Alex this time.

If you love looking at photographs, perhaps you'd like to shop at Who Shot Bob? I pay the photographer a cut for every shirt sold, based on his photo. I do that to thank him for the work, and I hope it could create a little passive income to help him/her buy lens, stands or camera parts to take more beautiful photos. If you've some great shots, please write to me as well.

Otherwise, if you've your own photo and would like to have a t-shirt made, please write in to me as well. There is no extra charges in custom-making your own t-shirts.

Usual price is $28. Launch promotion price is $23. Valid till 15 Jan 2010! Cheers and hope you've a fabulous year!

How I Will Live My 2010

I suddenly got up at 2.44am because I've a need to write this down. It's a message that popped into my head when I was imagining how I'd live my 2010 while lying on my comfy, warm bed -

I give myself the power to live the life I want, and to get what I desire. There's nothing to worry about because I'd rather make some blunders as the powerful being that I am, than to hide from the truth and live life shunning away from my fullest potential and true desires.

Cheers to staying fabulous! ;)

Hot Guy Alert

I don't usually find Robert Pattinson very hot. Maybe I'm being biased for I consider myself to be rather anti-Twilight. I've borrowed the set of books from Stephanie and I thought the story was cheesy and retarded. The plot is not clever and neither is it a pleasant read. I thought the movie was equally cheesy, and thank God I borrowed the DVD from Sarah so I don't have to pay a cent for it. But hey, these shots are doing Robert Pattinson great justice. There's a lot of personality in the photos. I love the shot of him smoking and his thick mob of hair is gorgeous as well. If Edward Cullen could do i'm-bad-cos-i'm-smoking thing, I'd drag Bryan to catch New Moon with me.

What I Look Forward To In 2010

More spontaneous road trips with Bryan. This year, we've been to Sabah, Phuket, Bangkok, Koh Phi Phi, Perhentian Island, KL and Hong Kong. I wonder where we'd head to this year. We wish to visit Taiwan and Japan though!

Two projects I've spent time preparing for and I can't wait to share with you in 2010!

Sex & The City Movie 2 (p/s click on link to watch the trailer! I wonder if Big would do any more bastard thing to Carrie again.)

Entourage Season 6. More words of wisdom from Ari Gold, if you look beneath his insults and cussing.

The future and opportunities for ironbra.

Participating in a biathlon, running a sundown and buying a race bike to race in a triathlon in 2011. I still haven't register for my swim trial yet. I like competitive sports and with all the training, I hope to attain a gorgeous toned body, for obvious vanity reason.

And of course, I look forward to reading more good books, taking more gym classes, spending time with friends and connecting with new people! How about you? What do you look forward to next year?

My Christmas Dinner

I've had a lovely Christmas dinner at Bryan's place this year. We had turkey, shepherd's pie, ham, salmon and a vegetable stew. I've asked Shaun (Bryan's brother) for the name of the stew 3 times but it kept slipping my mind. I think "crock pot" was what he said. Name aside, it's absolutely yummy.

Leanne (Shaun's wife & friend of mine before I started dating Bryan) bought a log cake to share. Luckily, we gave up the idea of making party food in the form of Elmo and Big Bird. I couldn't move after volumes of food enough to feed half of Africa and glasses of champange.

I was quite close to putting Bad Taste Bears to join Santa on the log cake but Leanne stopped me in time.

That's me waiting for my train to take me to the dinner. Christmas dinner was a blast because there's wonderful food, drinks and lovely people! How was your Christmas? How did you celebrate?

p/s Alright, apparently Shaun called it gumbo, not crock pot. Ooopsy.

Merry Christmas!

Merry, merry Christmas to you & your family! I'm heading out to do some last minute Christmas shopping. I'd be having dinner with Bryan and his family. Tomorrow, I'm taking a short road trip to the city of our neighbouring country! Sarah is having a wedding dinner on 26th in Kuala Lumpur. I can't wait to see her in white gown and all. I'd probably take my time and explore the city a bit with my mother. Hope you've a wonderful holiday!
p/s I'm getting a cute-overdose from the photo.

In Awe Of Navy Glory

I fell in love with the Navy Glory when I first saw it! I thought it'd look gorgeous on Leanne so I ordered it from EuniqYou. The band is adjustable so I wasn't too worried about ring size. Plus there's only one out there in the market. I love the idea of buying handmade and having the only piece in the world. It's a Christmas present but there's no surprises here now. We've to give Leanne an early present on the day of bazaar cos we've this fear of losing the ring admist the chaos on that day. So gorgeous isn't it?!

This is Mystery Jets and their album, Twenty One, is permanently on my playlist. Their music is awesome and I think they look great in pastel and sequins too. I like Blaine's hair (3rd from right) though it looks uncombed. I've caught William and Kai backstage after they finished a gig and shamelessly bugged 'em for a photo before. Bryan and I say if we ever have a wedding, we'd sing Young Love to everyone. Inappropriate lyrics ("One night of love, nothing more nothing less. One night of love, has put my bed in a mess. Is that you on the bus? Is that you on the train? You wrote your number on my hand and it came off in the rain") but we both love singing the song together.

You Camwhore!

Oooh I missed out this photo from our studio shoot! I saw it on our ironbra website and I asked Bryan where he stole this photo from. It was there all along apparently. I borrowed the skirt from my stock for the shoot. Must say I like the sci-fi cut. So I'm still having a temperature today and I have to miss the swim again. I slept for 10-hours and now I'm just chilling out in front of the TV, sipping tea and typing away on my laptop. How about you? How's your day so far?

Good Monday!

I believe it's important to start the week with a lot of positivity! Monday marks the start of the week - planning your task lists, scheduling meetings and arranging beer nights. On a bigger picture, we should know what we'd like to achieve out of our life so we could take take action or map it. I like this article on end goals vs mean goals. My goals in life is to live it to the fullest, try all things fun, live consciously, be honest (especially to self) and to love people who are important to me.

LOOKBOOK Likes Bryan

I was gushing to Bryan about how I'm having crushes on the girls and guys in LOOKBOOK. It's a community of fashion whores. They're either models, stylists, designers...you get the picture. It's like the giant pool of people from The Sartorialist have stepped forward together. You can join LOOKBOOK only by invitation and we don't know anyone. Bryan said he'd "charm 'em with his ironbra shoots." And... he received an invitation to join their community. We've a new playground. Hello Lookbook.

Time To Swim

There is officially 3 months left to the biathlon. I have yet to register because I fear of flunking the swim trial. So I was supposed to do that 30 laps with my training bud, Desmond today. Plus some other complicated drills that only he understands. Alas, my body is shutting down on me yesterday. It's a complete bummer because I was so looking forward to knowing the timing. I shall spend the day, reading a book and writing, and let the body recharge. It's Monday so have a good work week ahead!

Virgin Flea

On the day we set up our virgin stall at a flea market, it was rainy. It was a slow, wet day in general but we sold quite a good number of shirts. It's the first time we put it out to friends and we received very positive feedback - cut, quality & personality of design. ironbra is us - our twisted humor and our attraction to randomness - they're the traits that unify the products. We had a celebratory karaoke that lasted till 4am. I've had a hard time crawling out of bed this afternoon. Thank you to all our friends and family who support us and shower us with their massive love :)
